Common questions

How long does a home solar install take?
Most domestic systems are on and generating within two to three days, including scaffolding, roof work and the electrical connection at the board.
Do I need planning permission?
Usually not — most roof-mounted arrays are permitted development. Listed buildings and conservation areas are the exception, and we tell you before quoting.
Is a battery worth adding?
It depends on your usage pattern and tariff. We model it from twelve months of consumption and only recommend storage where the numbers support it.
Who handles the DNO paperwork?
We do. G98 or G99 notification and export tariff registration are handled on your behalf as part of the install.
