- Can it charge from my solar only?
- Yes. With a CT clamp fitted at the meter tails the charger can be set to use surplus generation only, or to top up from the grid when generation drops.
- Tethered or socketed?
- Tethered is easier day to day if you only charge one car. Socketed keeps the unit tidier and suits shared drives or future cars with different cables.
